Today, the high temperature will reach the lower 70s and the low will be in the mid-50s. A 40 percent chance of thunderstorms is forecast, but most of the storms should be north of Houston near Conroe and are not expected to be severe.

Small fire likely set at downtown Houston hospital
The blaze was reported around 11 p.m. of the hospital near the corner of St. Joseph Parkway and Crawford. Firefighters found a stack of sheets on fire and said it likely was intentionally set.
